"Great stay"

"It was nice staff was friendly."

"Great newer hotel next to city Beach and park . Right on Lake Huron fine sandy beach. Walk the beach for miles in either direction. Best kept secret in Michigan."

"Beach view was beautiful!!"

"This was a very nice facility with an extra special staff. Julie went out of her way to accommodate and with a very friendly demeanor. And The bed was very comfortable."

"Would stay again"

"Our second stay here. Great location!"

"Highly recommend. Will definitely stay again. We had so much fun."

"Everything including the staff were awesome!"

"Very clean cabin. Host was very helpful and responded to our questions very quickly. Not much parking at location."

"The beach was very nice , everything else about the place was just OK."

"Very helpful and was a nice cozy weekend we had a amazing time "

"The cozy one bedroom hotel turned out to be a windowless closet. Because we objected so strongly to the host he was able to put us into a cottage since we were only staying for the one night. The cottage was acceptable except for the bed ..the picture on the website was not the room they were going to give us. Check-in said tell them you’re renting the front living room . There was just enough room for the bed and the toilet squeezed between two walls."

"Wonderful place! Very comfortable and charming!"

"EEAUTIFUL cabin, will definitely stay again!!"

"We love staying at the Spruce cottage every time we come up to Hubbard Lake. You wake up to find deer right outside and a beautiful sunrise off of the lake. Alpena is only 35 minutes away with plenty of nice restaurants and shopping. What an awesome and cozy place will definitely be coming back. Thanks again for having us"

"Great location, right on the sandy shore of Lake Huron. The hosts were responsive to an electricity issue and worked quickly to resolve it. The bath linens were super soft!"

"Host was communicative and easy to work with, would love to re-book this stay."

"It was the best, so relaxing and restful, very peaceful Thanks!!!! "

"Overall the stay was incredibly relaxing and a really nice get away for my girlfriend and I. The only recommendation I might have would be adding directions to any public beaches on Cedar Lake and Lake Huron to the already awesome guide book that was in the house."
